The Kitchen When it Sizzles Blurb

Slogging though a new manuscript, but I need to take a break. Unfortunately for me, my idea of a break is working on other book related stuff.

So here, I’m happy to share the blurb for my upcoming book, The Kitchen When it Sizzles, a NA contemporary romance.

Olivia Nadal is an almost perfect girl with an almost perfect life. She has stunning good looks, an exciting job that pays well, men lining up to date her, and a homey little condo she calls her own. The only thing keeping her from perfection is her utter inability to cook.

Enter Nate Olivarez, a hotshot chef who’s filling in for Olivia’s cooking instructor. Sparks fly when they meet, but a fling with the visiting hottie is the last thing Olivia needs. But as things keep heating up in the kitchen, she can’t help but wonder. Can things work out between her and Nate? Or is the sizzle all set to fizzle?

It’s not quite as sweet as All’s Fair in Blog and War, but I’m hoping you guys will find it just as engrossing. I’m hoping to get it out this month, so expect me to share a few more things about it within the next few days or so.

(PS. Made a GoodReads page for #KitchenSizzles. Add it up if you’re interested?)

And the winner is…

Happy First Book Birthday, All’s Fair in Blog and War!

One of the difficulties of staying home all day is how you lose track of time, all the time. Which mostly explains why the first book birthday—it sounds better than anniversary—celebration of All’s Fair in Blog and War is more than a week late.

02 Macanese Egg Tart by Margaret

Let’s stick a candle on this egg tart, shall we?

While Five and Jesse’s travel romance is just the first in what I hope is many (second solo story’s coming out in a few weeks), it will always hold a special place in my heart, not just for being the first, but also for being the one to teach me that yes, I can do this.

So, yay! Celebration time. And because the reason to celebrate wouldn’t be there without YOUR support, consider this a thank you from me to you.
